Welcome

This blog is very simple. We buy wines under $10 Canadian and rate them. No commentary, just a rating from * to *****. No half points allowed.

As of the date of this blog being created (2006-11-25), I have only had one wine in the past year that warrants *****, and it was way over $10. So a **** rating is an excellent wine; *** is good; ** is poor; and * is awful. No rating for fair.

You may see a ***** rating from J. She is my wife and is a more generous wine rater than me.
